Bro. Kenneth “Sarge” Straughter is a man of faith and compassion. He has been married for 32 years to his wife Natalie (Retired Educator) They share 4 children and 4 grandchildren.
He served 12 years in the Army and the Army Reserve.
He retired after 37 years as Captain for the Clarke County Sheriff’s Office (GA) where he served as Assistant Jail Commander. He was awarded Georgia Officer of the Year in 2018 by the Georgia American Legion, along with other numerous awards and credits for his community service efforts
He is the CEO of The Attentive Ear of Georgia where he provides pre- and post-marriage counseling services for couples.
He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Columbia Southern University.
